Hello. I am glad you found this.
This is where I write the long thoughts.

THE MOST RECENT ESSAY
- On Being a Mother and a Person at the Same Time
- Growth Looks Like Losing: The Truth About Midlife
- Clarity Is Expensive. Confusion Is Subsidised.
- The Year I Stopped Apologising for the Shape of My Life
- The Art of Beginning Again When You Thought You Were Already Halfway There
There are four ways to read here.
Some pieces are reflections, some are letters, some take the long way around an idea you have not had time to think about while some are written to a version of myself I have outgrown, or someone I am still trying to understand.
Pick the one that fits the day you are having.

Slow Letters
A short letter, sent once or twice a month. Sometimes when a new essay is up. Sometimes when there is a thought I want to share that is not ready to be an essay yet. Always about three minutes of your reading time.
If you would like to subscribe, you can leave your email below. I do not share it. I do not send anything else.
